Installation
Created by Jess Johnson and Simon Ward. Now or Never, Melbourne.
XYZZY REDUX invites you to untether from reality and transport into a pure digital hallucination. Created by artist Jess Johnson and video director Simon Ward, this hypnotic sensory odyssey teeters on the edge of dreamscape and nightmare. Johnson’s hand-drawn compositions are translated into a kaleidoscopic landscape of animated flesh mandalas, self-replicating architecture, undulating worms, and messianic alien deities. Constantly repeating, morphing, transforming in a meditative geometry.
This neverending wormhole is heavily charged by a 90s-inspired electronic synthesiser score from musicians Andrew Clarke, Luke Rowell, Stef Animal, and Lachlan Anderson.

Series (8×20’)
Created by and starring Holly Shervey. Directed by Emmett Skilton.
Listen to the soundtrackWhen Frankie Jones (Shervey) burns her sister’s house down via a drink-and-fry, she’s given an ultimatum: jail, or four weeks at the flashy rehabilitation clinic The Laast Resort. Located in the tiny town of Laast, deep in rural New Zealand, and advertised as “a sanctuary of wellness and restoration”, The Laast Resort doesn’t sound half bad, especially with her sister Emma paying for the treatment. But upon arriving, Frankie discovers the clinic is, in fact, nothing more than a run-down halfway-house in the arse end of nowhere, filled with a bunch of people she does not want to associate with. But it’s too late to bail out now.

-
Film
Directed by Sasha Rainbow.
Listen to the soundtrackWhen a brilliant but disfigured student is shunned by her fellow classmates at a prestigious university, she achieves the popularity she needs by putting her studies to a terrifying new use.

-
Film
Directed by David Farrier.
Listen to the soundtrackJournalist and filmmaker David Farrier (Tickled, Dark Tourist) unwittingly stumbles into a game of cat and mouse with a mystery man creating havoc in his neighbourhood, wheel-clamping cars at a local antique store. That clamper was Michael Organ, and little did Farrier know that delving deeper into who Organ really is would be a thrilling and tension-filled three-year-long investigation — unearthing a trail of multiple court cases, inflated claims of royal bloodlines, ruined lives, and at least one stolen boat.
